About

About Me

Born in Boston, but at home wherever creativity takes me.

If there’s a story to tell or a project to build, I’m all in. Right now, I’m producing and starring in a short film in Harlem while also launching a podcast for an employee resource group at work. My journey has taken me to some of the world’s most incredible places, and I feel lucky to capture and share those experiences.

My younger brother, Matthew Kimm, taught me to be fearless in my creativity. Whether it’s playing guitar in a train station just for the experience or interviewing entrepreneurs on my podcast to network, I love painting mental images and telling stories that connect us to each other and the world around us.

In between acting gigs, I direct, produce, and host a monthly podcast—The Last Stop on the D—alongside a talented team of writers and producers. I’m also a teaching assistant at Herbert Berghof Studios and currently taking comedy classes in Manhattan. Shoutout to my mother, Marcia Kimm-Jackson, for passing down the multitasking gene!

Beyond the creative world, I consult in IT and content production, two fields that originally led me to acting back in 2010 and eventually brought me to New York City in 2016.

And if you’re thinking of that quote, here it is in full:
“A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”

Let’s create something great together. 🎬🎙️🎸hidden page linked here: https://brandontheactor.squarespace.com/home-3/podwork
